Selecting the items for our Green Gear Guide each year really does take some work. You see, there might be a lot of brands championing their ‘eco-friendly’ products these days, but not all of these are totally legit, and that means we need to cut through the greenwashing.
We think we’ve achieved that here. The items we’ve selected all demonstrate a brand taking genuinely positive steps towards minimising their impact on the environment. Granted, not all of them are totally impact-free but they’ve been included because they at least represent a good step in the right direction.
Our sponsor for the guide this year is Webtogs, an online gear retailer with its own admirable eco creds. In fact, 99% of its product packaging is plastic free and is made from recycled materials. They’ll even plant a tree with every single order that’s placed.
