It all started with a Swedish carpenter. Wiktor Haglof did not enjoy spending time outdoors. It was a struggle for him, fighting to get to school or working outdoors while being battered by the harsh elements. 100 years ago, the outdoor world wasn’t necessarily the pleasurable place we dip in and out of today – at least for Wiktor.
He wanted to make outdoor clothing that made this hard work a little bit easier, so he founded Haglofs. They are also wind and water-resistant, coated with a durable water-repellent layer that will push beads of water off the surface if you are caught in a rain shower.
