If you’re looking for a jacket that’ll see you through some seriously miserable conditions, look no further than Cortazu’s new Mountain Hardshell. Made using Toray’s impressive Dermizax fabric, this jacket uses a three-layer waterproof design that brings a hydrostatic head of 25,000mm and breathability rating of 25,000 g/m2/24 hrs. If those numbers don’t really mean much to you, they basically put this jacket right up there with the big hitters.
What’s more the Mountain Hardshell cleverly integrates with Cortazu’s Mountain Mid Layer, making for a dynamic warmth-when-wet layering system for above-the-tree-line use. You can see how it all works in this video we filmed back in December…
This month we’re giving away a Mountain Hardshell and Mountain Mid Layer system to one lucky winner. To be in with a chance of winning them, all you need to do is sign up to our email list and fill in the form to let us know your size and whether you’d like a men’s system or a women’s one. The link’s down there at the bottom.
Cortazu, in case you’re not familiar with them, are a relatively new brand from the Netherlands that are really going places. Running on a direct-to-consumer business model, they’re able to offer products that are comparable to the likes of Black Diamond and Arc’teryx but at prices that are a little less eye-watering. They even managed to pick up a coveted ISPO Gold Award with their first product to hit the market.
** COMPETITION CLOSED **
Terms and Conditions: By signing up for this competition, you are giving us permission to add you to our newsletter mailing list and also to Cortazu’s. The two jackets up for grabs may differ in colour to the products pictured. The competition will close at 23:59 on the 25th of February 2021.
