Kendal Mountain Festival 2016 | Trailer

Check out the incredible video trailer for this year's Kendal Mountain Festival plus learn more about what's happening.

The guys at the Kendal Mountain Festival reckon that the Untravelled Lands promo video for this year’s event is their best ever and it’s an absolute cracker. Not so much a compilation of clips from the best films submitted as a story and, erm, maybe a philosophy, in its own right. Enjoy!

The festival takes place in Kendal, yes really, over the weekend of 17-20 November and promises to be its usual mix of stunning film, mountain culture, hands-on workshops and events, speakers and lots more.

It’s not too late to get stuck in either. Here are some of the happenings that you might want to put on your festival menu if you haven’t already.

What’s Going On At Kendal 2016?

Not just any old festival, one of the biggest mountain festivals in the world, consistently excellent and a proper outdoors tribal meeting.

Countdown to Kendal Mountain Festival 2016 – 17- 20th November 2016

After welcoming over 14,500 visitors, hosting 100+ filmmakers and media and enjoying the company of a truly remarkable collection of guest speakers last year, perhaps the premier social event for outdoor folk in the UK is back for 2016.

Offering the largest and most varied programme in its 30+ year history, the 2016 Kendal Mountain Festival will feature hundreds of film screenings, celebrating both well-documented and lesser-known feats of adventure, endurance and exploration.

The Kendal team has also worked hard to put together the very best and most entertaining schedule of speakers to accompany the films at this years’ event.
