At ISPO 2020, we were blown away by the number of award winners Klättermusen had in their line-up. One of the products that really stood out to us at the Munich-held tradeshow was the Allgron 2.0 four-season shell jacket.
What Is The Klättermusen Allgron Best Suited To?
In Swedish, Klättermusen means ‘climbing mouse’. With that in mind, there’s no prizes for guessing that the Allgron 2.0 is aimed at mountain-loving climbers in particular. The pockets, for example, have been deliberately positioned so as to not interfere with any potential climbing harness, there’s a two-way main zip to help with that as well, and the arms have the right articulation to allow high, unhindered reaches.
If all this talk of climbing is putting you off however, rest assured that the Allgron 2.0 is just at home on everyday adventures as it is when it’s a stone’s throw away from the summit of Kebnekaise – Sweden’s highest mountain.
The Eco Credentials
The Klättermusen Allgron 2.0 is made from a material called Ultramid Bio-mass Balance which is a Polyamide that’s derived from renewable resources. On top of that, quite literally, it has a water resistant coating that’s completely free from any eco-hazardous fluorocarbon chemicals.
On the subject of eco-creds, it’s also worth mentioning that the zip is designed so that it can be easily replaced if and when it breaks, so it won’t have to go to the landfill due to one small malfunction. There’s also the overall durability of the Allgron 2.0. Its fabric has a slight bit of stretch to it but it also feels hardy – you can sense it’ll stand up to most abrasion and ultimately last a long time. When it comes to sustainability, that should be the first box that brands are looking to tick.
