The Dynamic 12000 really impressed us when it was assessed for our Green Gear Guide earlier this year. What’s incredibly unique about it is that it comes with a special mesh lining that’s imbued with six natural minerals and this is apparently capable of reflecting your own infra-red rays back into your body. What does this achieve? Greater circulation of oxygen-rich blood, apparently, and then faster cell regeneration as well. That means deep tissues can heal quickly to keep you active for longer.

That’s according to the marketing blurb, anyway. Cynics will scoff, but on the flipside, there are many advocates of similar IR and red-light therapies, and it is an increasingly popular field of alternative medicine that has been used to treat inflammation and even chronic or acute pain.

The judges at ISPO, one of the biggest outdoor gear shows in the world, awarded the Craghoppers Dynamic 12000 with one of their top prizes in 2021 – that’s a pretty good endorsement.
