But best of all, it has a removable 8-litre daypack that can be attached inside the main pack or to the main pack shoulder straps. This would be great if you’d just arrived in a new city and wanted to dump most of your stuff at your hostel before heading out to explore the streets and see some sights. Alternatively, for those days when you’ve bought a load of food or extra supplies, you can just stick it all in the daypack and wear it on your chest, rather than having to try and cram it all under the lid of your main bag.

Eco Credentials

The main fabric of the Inari 65 is made from recycled polyester, derived from used PET bottles. As well as reducing the use of petrochemicals that are needed to manufacture virgin polyester, this diverts plastic waste that might otherwise end up in landfill or even worse, the ocean. Top marks.

Construction and Performance

This rucksack has all the features you’d expect from a high-quality trekking pack. This includes an easily adjustable, ergonomic carrying system, a pre-shaped aluminium frame, big stretchy side pockets, a top lid pocket, a roomy main compartment with a bottom zipped divider, a big zipper pocket and a front shove-it pocket, a chunky hip belt and a rain cover. There’s also that super-useful additional daypack.

It feels well made and robust, so it should stand up to plenty of punishment on the trail or on your travels. The fabric is also PU-coated, which adds further durability and water repellency.

Verdict

With an array of features, the Inari 65 is a great pack for trekking and travelling. It’s not the lightest pack around, but it delivers excellent carrying comfort and has the stability to handle heavy loads – ideal if you’re lugging everything but the kitchen sink. We also like the fact that it is made from recycled polyester, which can only be a good thing for the planet.
