It’s Polartec’s 30th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion they’re taking a trip down memory lane, pulling together a family album full of photos and videos… and they want your help with it.

Submit any clip or photo of you out enjoying the great outdoors over the years and if it makes it into the family album you’ll be rewarded with a brand new Polartec fleece in return.

Garish retro throwbacks are encouraged but not essential, they’re just after some photos of good times in the mountains; whether that’s from five days ago or fifty years ago.

There’s more, because Polartec have two armchairs up for grabs as well. That’s right, armchairs, and not just any old armchairs either. These are LC23 X Polartec Peaking Since ’91 armchairs made from fleece offcuts.

Polaroids, old disposable camera shots, or even some modern JPEGs straight from your phone – Polartec will take the lot – so get them in to be in with a chance of winning yourself some nice prizes.

2021 is a big milestone for the Polartec brand, marking three decades of innovation and three decades where they have been defining the way we dress for the outdoors. Unfamiliar with their history? It’s worth delving into our ‘40 Years of Firsts’ article for a deep dive on the revolutionary fabrics they’ve brought us. Fabrics like the first ever synthetic fleece, for instance – Polartec’s founding company were the ones behind that. Then there was the first performance fabric made from recycled bottles as well. The list goes on…
