Hanwag’s original Tatras were a hit with the Outdoors Magic team a few years ago, now we’ve been able to get our hands on the follow up to it, the Hanwag Tatra II GTX, and we’re pleased to say it hasn’t disappointed us.
In fact, we’ve been really impressed, so impressed that we not only decided to include it in our Outdoor 100 2018, but we also stuck it in our list of the best hiking boots for 2019.
There’s that lovely Nubuck leather upper, the 6mm lugs on the outsole, secure lacing and solid toe bumper, plus we also struck by its powerful midsole, which makes the Tatra II great to wear while scrambling.
