In this episode Will takes a look at a brand new backpack from Lowe Alpine, the Altus 42:47.
He was out in the Alps last September to try it out in the Brandenburg Alps and was seemingly impressed by its performance, features and general no-fuss design.
“This would be the perfect pack for hut-to-hut treks,” said Will. “I’d definitely recommend it to someone planning to take on something like the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage as it’s just the right size and with plenty of thought to carry comfort. Weekend camping adventures aren’t off the cards with it either.”
Another testament to this pack’s qualities is the fact that it managed to make it into our list of this year’s best backpacks for hiking.
You’ll currently find it at Alpinetrek, Ellis Brigham and Tiso for around £140.
