Pay attention northern folk, the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival – ShAFF – is back for 2017 complete with its own brand, spanking new trailer above and a heady mix of more than 100 adventure films plus other events including a hill heavy road cycling race taking in seven of Sheff’s steepest hills and an international climbing competition.
What, Where And When?
Backed by the nice people at the (still) British Mountaineering Council, ShAFF forms part of the Outdoor City Weekender over 17-19 March. Screenings will take place at the Showroom Cinema in the heart of the city across five separate screens.
The BMC’s enhanced involvement is an extension of the body’s longstanding support for the event and a shameless attempt to tempt its 82,700 members into sitting still for long enough to watch a film… To be fair though, BMC members get a 15% discount on ticket prices.
What else is happening?
