Here at Outdoors Magic, we work right alongside another magazine, called Mpora, which covers a slightly higher tempo side of outdoor recreation – stuff like backcountry skiing, climbing and mountain biking. Anyway, we’re telling you this because they’ve only gone and produced a cracking looking print magazine devoted to outdoor adventure within the British Isles.
Inside there’s sea cliff climbing in Scotland, an interview with extreme mountain biker Danny MacAskill, a skate adventure in the Highlands (involving an inconceivable stunt), a look through the lens of a talented Lake District photographer, a discussion around the democratising power of wave machines and last but not least there’s a big old in-the-field gear review section curated by none other than the Outdoors Magic team.
If you’re into the UK outdoor scene, this is essentially a magazine that’s been made specifically for you. If you’re a regular reader of our pages, we’re pretty sure you’re going to love it.
How can you get your hands on a copy of this thing then? Well, as of Thursday the 26th of August, ANY purchase you make with our friends over at online outdoor gear specialists Blackleaf will come with a free copy of the Mpora Journal included as standard while stocks last.
Head over to mpora.com for more on what to expect inside issue 01.
