Leatherman have just unveiled two new products, including a nylon tool pouch and leather sheath, both of which are designed to cater for those who tend to carry more than just a single every-day-carry (EDC) – the people who are basically running out of pocket space.
The Ainsworth Sheath is arguably the more eye-catching of the two new products. Available in medium or large models, each one is bookended with two belt loops which securely fit with any belt up to a 3.8cm width, and they’re made from a top-grain leather which should produce a beautiful weathered patina over time.
Each sheath includes a main sleeve and a smaller sleeve designed to fit flush with your trusted pocket flashlight. This smaller sleeve remains consistent across the two sizes while the main sleeve differs. On the large model, for instance, this main sleeve will be suited to heavy-duty Leatherman multi tools such as the Surge, the Signal, and the Super Tool 300. On the medium model, it’s designed to hold the smaller Wingman, Skeletool, Crunch, or Free P4 tools.
